[The elevator doors open. At first, there isn't a person visible. Then a young girl, with long white hair calmly steps out.]
Umm... hello?

Wow. Could this be any more awkward? I would usually introduce myself. But...

[ slight, short laugh ]

No, I understand. Did you just wake up?

Yes, I just found myself on the floor. I can't say that I cared for it much.

[She smiles shyly]

It's not a pleasant situation. My name is Garnet. Have you been told much about our circumstances here yet?

[icy_princess]

You can call me Snow.. But that's probably not my name.

I haven't been told much of anything.

That's fine. 'Garnet' is also a name I chose recently. But if you have something you would rather be called in the future, then I'll readily use that instead. For now, however, I'm happy to meet you, Snow.

[ presses his hands together, palm to blade - he actually has marks on the backs of both of them, one the Erelim tattoo and the other a pattern of angular, vivid red marks ]

Do you know why people are dressed in certain colors?

[Gestures at the starred man on her team]

He said we were on the same team...

It's not the most important thing to mention, but it's the simplest place to start. You're a member of the team Malakim. Mine is Erelim, and the third is Ophanim. Mostly, what this means is just that you'll be living together more closely. But there are also competitions arranged sometimes.

[icy_princess]

Malakim... that was one the wall.

[She gestures at her tattoo]

And this is a symbol of that I take it? What does it mean... Who put it there?

I'm not entirely sure about either of those things. But there's a group of people here who aren't on a team - a group of angels. We haven't met most of them, I'm sure, but they still have their memories, so most of what information we have has come from them. One, or more of them, is probably who placed these on us.

So Garnet... you said there were more important things to know about this place than just the teams.

Unless you are in the middle of something, would you care to tell me an example?

We're not enemies, the different teams. But those angels will pit us against each other.
