What: Game 3
[ Another day, another blast of the trumpets, another game.
Exael is there this time, in her human guise, standing in the center of the arena, and in the center of a giant circular mirror with a clock face painted on, that has been installed in the floor beneath her.
Both of the painted hands are currently pointed towards XII
Exael raises both her arms with a flourish and calls out as people enter: ]
Come one, come all! Take your positions, for soon the curtains will rise on our next act!

comfortably under the shade of the branches overhead, three cages are stacked on top of each other. The cages are closed, but not locked. There are three locks. The first cage contains the song bird you heard; the second, a tarantula; and the third, a chameleon. ]

The tarantula slowly crawls out towards Garnet's hand.
and the Chameleon leaves the cage, crawling onto the grass, already changing colour to blend in with its surroundings ]

a plot in the center of the garden is freshly tilled, the single unplanted flower bed in the garden. A small trowel, three seed bags, and a hand-written note sits by the dirt plot.
One bag has a small heart mark label; another, an illustration of a rose; and the last, a cloud. . . maybe a thought bubble? ]
