[ Another day, another blast of the trumpets, another game.

Exael is there this time, in her human guise, standing in the center of the arena, and in the center of a giant circular mirror with a clock face painted on, that has been installed in the floor beneath her.

Both of the painted hands are currently pointed towards XII

Exael raises both her arms with a flourish and calls out as people enter: ]

Come one, come all! Take your positions, for soon the curtains will rise on our next act!

What's going on is lunch! Or would be, except Ivy's super late. Travis is being a worry-wart and doesn't want to start without him.

Lots of stuff!

[ the table has been set with a platter of roast, carving fork and knife set beside it. on a smaller platter, apples have been cut and set out in a circle, surrounding a mound of pomegranate seeds. Fresh baked bread is placed out, and a jar of honey beside it. A bottle of wine has been uncorked, and every seat down the long table has been set with plates and silverware ]

Well, certainly much better then what we've been having to eat so far. Do you guys get to eat like this all the time?

[helps himself to roast as well, then grabs some bread and pours some wine for himself.]

I do! It's really good.

[ the roast is really good. better than anything else you've had here. It's definitely not the same kind of animal as the armor-deer outside, either. Definitely beef. ]

Ohhhh, I think I might have a bit too. I'm not sure when I ate last. I'm sorry!

[Helps herself to the meat, a few pieces of bread, drinks the wine as well. She eats a large serving. She also wraps some meat into the bread and puts it into her clothing, alongside a plain bread]
