[ Another day, another blast of the trumpets, another game.

Exael is there this time, in her human guise, standing in the center of the arena, and in the center of a giant circular mirror with a clock face painted on, that has been installed in the floor beneath her.

Both of the painted hands are currently pointed towards XII

Exael raises both her arms with a flourish and calls out as people enter: ]

Come one, come all! Take your positions, for soon the curtains will rise on our next act!

We didn't win, though. . .

No, but he won't be too bothered. The two of us didn't win Exael's first game, either.

Well, if he's not bothered, I'm not bothered.

If that changes, you should say as much, but as of right now, I don't think any of us mind regaining our memories a bit slower.

Oh, I want what's mine. But I want what's mine on my terms. I'm not doing anything I don't want to do, whether I get my memories back or not.

I can agree with that sentiment.
