[ it's morning, and though there's no shrill of an alarm or sunlight streaming in through windows, you've all just woken up. probably. That would account for why you seem to be in bed, and why you don't remember doing anything before this. It must have been a nice restful sleep.

in this room you don't recognize.

. . . actually, maybe the reason you don't remember doing anything isn't related to having just woken up at all. if you search your mind, you'll find your recollection totally blank.

Maybe you should get up and find out what's going on ]

Yes, you. Haven't you noticed that guy looks just like you?

[But he's lifting his hands, the right flesh and the left metal, to his own face to feel along it. He frowns slightly at the metal one when it doesn't provide much by way of feedback, lets it drop and explores with only the right instead.]

[Touma was about to retaliate with his own sarcastic remark when he was struck with a realization. He has no idea about what he looks like either. Once that realization sunk in, he felt like a hypocrite for criticizing him about not knowing.]

Sorry about that. How about we find a mirror? Or at least something really shiny.

[Glances around the kitchen, eyes skimming until he hits on the appliances. He leaves off touching his jaw to nod in that direction.]

[Touma walks over to the kitchen appliances. Many of them looked quite weathered and had long lost their beautiful sheen. He begins sorting through the numerous appliances in search of anything that could be used as an improvised mirror. After a few moments of loud clanking and dull thumping, he finally pulls out a relatively newer looking pan from the pile.]

This should do.

[He hands the pan over to him.]

Huh. I'll be damned.

[Leans in to peer at himself — then hands the pan over when he's done.]

[He takes the pan back and tries to sneak a quick look at himself before putting it on the counter.]

Amazing, right? Like I mentioned before, it's very possible that guy is your twin brother.

Guess it's a good thing I talked him down, then.

We got off to a pretty rough start.

I just realized something. Do you think he's aware that he looks identical to you?

Probably not. Unless his room had a mirror or something, but I didn't see anything like that.
