It's a scavenger hunt! And I can hear hair growing!

OH MY GOD YOUR SKIN

[She seems to not have control over her volume. She grabs her throat, then her ears]

[Then she cries]

[puts a comforting hand on your shoulder.]

It'll be okay. Though please, talk quietly. My hearing is greatly enhanced and that really, really hurt.

[He says, though you likely can't understand it very wall behind his mask. You may need him to take it off if you are going to try to read his lips to understand him.]

[She stares at you blankly]

OH THIS IS JUST GREAT! I can't hear anything...

[She looks annoyed at your face and gestures at you to remove it]

[She can't seem to look away from your skin]

[pulls my mask up and off. This is the first time you've seen my face fully revealed and it is fairly horrifying looking.]

Well, my hearing is super amplified. I can literally hear like your hair growing. Everything hurts. Let's just try and hurry up and find these things. Let's start with the easiest. Something hard?

[Stares at your face. Looks memorized in a sick way, she stares at your mouth trying to understand]

[She holds out her piece of paper and points to the two of them and then points to the paper and holds it out to him, seeming to ask him to point]

[Nodding, he points to the line: "Something hard." he then he points to "something soft".]

[She nods in agreement and smiles]

Where do we go?

[She is trying to whisper as low as she can, she stares at your mouth awaiting to decipher the reply]

[Looks around and picks up a rock.]

Something hard?

We can get something soft at the dorms...maybe a pillow?

[She spots a good rock to and clutches it in her hand]

I don't know... I don't feel like I'm the best one to ask...

[She continues to look on the verge of tears]

Why aren't I smarter??

[looks at you kind of surprised.]

You are pretty smart...don't be so down on yourself. We will figure this out, don't worry.

[Continued upset]

I don't need you to make me feel better about myself. I know what a loser I am.

Let's go find something soft...

Ooookay...

[Goes to the dorms with you, grabs a spare pillow, and returns to the city

Maybe the flower next? Or the animal? Where are we going to find an animal?

I think I can get up high to see something. My vision is very... keen. Any ideas where I should look at? I still haven't been out of the dorms.

Maybe we should go to the greenhouse to look for flowers? Or maybe the forest? Either of those would likely have an animal or a flower.

[Looks frustrated]

And I'm awful at reading lips too. Such a loser.

I'll follow you wherever you think is best...

Okay...well, then I guess the forest would be the best first stop?

[To the forest!]

[Once at the forest]

I can take a look around. Hopefully I don't screw this up.

[Looks to you for approval]

[Takes mask off.]

Okay...look for flowers.

[Points to the line "A flower" for emphasis.]

[She launches herself into the air with a glyph and then lands on another one about 100 ft into the air. Scans the area]

I see some yellow flowers. Over there [gestures]

[She lands gracefully onto the ground next to you]

[blink, blink and stare.]

What...what was that? That was pretty impressive!

[Looks self conscious and doesn't look like she understands you]

Sorry, right...can't hear me.

[points to the part on the list that says:

An Animal

then shrugs.]

[Runs over and grabs the yellow flowers from the direction you indicated. Thinks about it and decides to give up on getting the animal. Decides to go for something else on the list instead. Looking it over he sees that we have:

A rock
A pillow
A flower

Something precious
Something worthless
Something you've never seen
Something you see every day
A present]

Well, I suppose we should be able to find something worthless just about anywhere around here. Not sure where to get something I've never seen...something I see every day should also be easy enough. Not sure about the present though...
