[ so maybe you're on the hunt for those very special scavenger hunt items. or maybe you're trying to figure out how to function with those terrible status effects. or MAYBE you've given up on everything and have decided to lie down on your face until this game is over??? ]

[ tilts his head to the general direction weiss is in, eyes unfocused ]

[ "Haven't figured out how to make sound without my voice yet, sorry," is what comes to mind. but there's also a huge spike of irritation and a lot of malice backing those words that isn't entirely his own ]

Had my hearing effected, so no matter what you said wouldn't matter much to me anyway.

[ snorts, shrugging again and tilting his head back - he's making the mental note not to let antares find out that he's blind, also that he fucked up kind of maybe. ]

Can't last that long. You need help getting back, or this just a prime napping spot no one told me about?

[ makes a show of flopping over, like he's going to sleep right on the spot ]

[ he's definitely not going to show a single hint of his nervousness over feeling incredibly agitated and not wanting to lash out at anyone or anything violently and make a fool out of himself while he's like this, so staying in the same place seems like as good idea as any. ]

[ well, okay. glances around, making sure no one else is there, and then sits down, to act as sentinel. ]

Is is, huh? Not gonna be letting you hog it all, then, I'll be taking one here too.

[ not like Copper can see if he's sitting up or lying down; sleeping or keeping guard ]

[ caaaarefully inching his hands along the ground as he rolls, to make sure he's not bumping into antares. instinctively he makes to hum, but it doesn't come out and instead, he's on his stomach and tucking his arms in under his head, closing his eyes. one hand lifts from under to wave, slowly, deliberately, even though there's bridled energy that he can feel in his bones, the agitation that he wants to release -

"yeah, yeah, whatever." ]

Taking that as an okay.

[ there's nothing else he can do for Copper for now, so this'll be good enough ]

[ well antares isn't mentioning anything about anything. we're pretty okay probably.

tucking his hand back underneath, thinking that maybe? he could? get through this. and get his finger back eventually. but that also means that he has to work with this list to get the stuff and he already crumpled and ripped it up. ]

[ tucks his head further in, like he's making himself comfortable ]

[currently wearing a cute ruffly dress in Ophanim colors rather than the usual uniform. mostly notable, she has a green gem nestled in her hair, the centerpiece of an elegant fascinator. also notable is the dozen or so plnat-swords hanging in the air around her, points facing outwards.

Quinn is also currently looking around her (and for scavenger hunt things) with an air of DEEP SUSPICION AND FEAR. yes, that includes you.]

[Heading back from the park, hauling an armor deer by the metal arm. He takes in the outfit.]

Out exploring?

[at first, she doesn't seem to have heard him -- but as her gaze sweeps all around her, she notices him and his deer, and immediately takes two steps away, gaze (and swords) all fixed in Bucky's direction]

Hey.

[He puts the free hand up.]

Just me.

[She doesn't acknowledge his words at all, and doesn't relax at all, either. The only thing she does is tighten the grip on her scavenger hunt list.]

Hush?

[Not coming any closer.]

You okay?

[backs away accordingly, shaking her head]

You sick or something?

[eyeing him suspiciously...how do you not know about the game, mister. HMM???

and then she flaps her scavenger hunt list at him]

[Come to think of it, you didn't see him in the arena.]

C'mon, I can't see that from here.

[He starts forward to see what she's got.]

[backing away; what if he tries to take it so HE can win the game and SHE can't >:U]

STAY AWAY, IT'S M-M-MINE!

[her voice comes out as a shout, wayyy too loud]

[Freezes, more to calm her down than out of alarm.]

Yeah, sure. It's yours.

and also watching Bucky with ADDITIONAL SUSPICION because he stopped moving why did he stop moving

and she doesn't acknowledge anything he said at all]

I got this deer — why don't you come on back with me, and I'll see if I can't figure out how to cook this thing?

[Or maybe you had no idea there was a game at all, and are on your way back from the park hauling an armor deer, like this guy.]

[He spots you and circles around to see why you're just lying there.]
