Remembered a pal of mine, is all.

The important thing is, you're not dead. All kinds of stuff you can do now, instead of hang out with some dame.

Yeah, that is true. I am slightly curious as to why I wanted to stay with her. Or why she wanted me to stay.

Though...I wonder if I still can't die? I mean, in here, things seem to be working a bit differently, you know?

I was turning eighteen, and me and a couple guys I knew were holed up in the kinda place where you don't have parties.

One of those idiots went and dug up a cake somewhere anyway. Blew our cover clean open.

Huh, sounds like a good time. Though what kind of place doesn't let you have parties?

Dunno where it was. It was crawling with Nazis, though.

You know, I didn't think about it before, but in my first memory as a sumo wrestler, my face looked normal.

But this last memory...my face was all messed up like it is now.

Guess something happened in between.
