[As soon as he takes that memory, though, his expression goes completely blank.]

[Was opening his mouth to say something back, but he shuts it when he sees that. Waiting it out, and kind of keeping an eye on you to see how it's going.]

[His breathing grows rapid and shallow, and he begins to tremble, suddenly clutching at his right hand. The face he's wearing doesn't move much, but the fear in his eyes gives him away.]
