[ it's morning, and though there's no shrill of an alarm or sunlight streaming in through windows, you've all just woken up. probably. That would account for why you seem to be in bed, and why you don't remember doing anything before this. It must have been a nice restful sleep.

Kid, I just woke up without a name or an arm. Some stranger's been pawing all over us to get us in the right colors, and I got jumped two minutes out of the place I started out in.

That's not paranoia. That's common sense.
